Meanwhile, Deputy Coordinator of Kopertais Region VIII Dr. KH Hamzah Harun Al Rasyid, Lc, M.A talked about preparing to become a leader in the future.

According to KH Hamzah there are three indicators of choosing or becoming a quality leader including intelligence, power, and integrity.

“So a leader must have high intelligence. Second, he must have a strong power, because the job needs thinking and works. And the most important and foremost is integrity or commonly known as honesty,” said Hamzah Harun.

“Even though the first and second indicators are lacking, the third indicator can cover both. Because a person’s integrity will affect the quality of his work performance as a leader,” continued Hamzah who is also Chairman of PW NU South Sulawesi.

Hamzah Harun believes that the three indicators above have been fulfilled by the alumni of UMI that based its education with Ilmu amaliyah, amal ilmiay, and Akhlaqul Karimah.
