INFID Invites UMI Joining Festival HAM 2016

UMI Makassar – International NGO Forum on Indonesian Development (INFID) cooperating with Universitas Muslim Indonesia (UMI) holds a Public Lecture in pursuit of human rights Festival 2016 in the Hall of Al Jibra UMI Campus II, Jl Urip Sumoharjo Makassar, Monday (11/21/2016).

Rector of UMI, Prof Dr. Masrurah Mokhtar MA expresses her appreciation to INFID for appointing UMI as a host of a series of activities Human Rights Festival 2016 and the only university outside Java.

“UMI is always willing to be the host for academic activities because UMI  is often the host of national and international events,” said the Rector of UMI, Prof. Masrurah.

This public lecture is an educational forum to discuss and gets ideas or input on how the role of districts and cities in implementing human rights that are currently popular among local governments, at the same time welcomed the implementation of the human rights festival which will be held late November 2016 in Bojonegoro.

Besides UMI who hosted a Public Lecture was also appointed University of Indonesia (UI) and Gadjah Mada University (UGM).
