LPDKI UMI ‘Character Building’ Road Show to North Luwu

UMI Makassar – Institute of Dakwah Development and Islamic Campus (LPDKI) UMI holds Roadshow in some high schools in Masamba (14/11). Presented Chairman of LPDKI UMI Dr.HM.Ishaq Samad, M.A, facilitators, headmasters, teachers and hundreds of students at the high school Class XII Masamba.

Head of SMA Negeri 1 Masamba, Drs.H.Syaifullah expresses his gratitude for the arrival of UMI team. “We need each other,” he said.

It also said that many Alumni SMAN 1 Masamba who chose UMI because UMI has quality “My son is alumni of the postgraduate of Law UMI,” he said.

Meanwhile, Head of SMA Negeri 2 Masamba, Drs. Arifin Santoso stated that firmly supports any real activities, including the dissemination of  UMI team. He said that there were several other universities was also coming in SMAN 2 Masamba, and we facilitated all. However, it looks that UMI used a different approach.

“This is different from the others because children are invited to do muhasabah and remembrance of Allah,” he explained.

The Chairman of LPDKI UMI, Dr.HM.Ishaq Samad, M. A states Dissemination Program of UMI seed in the form of character education at some high schools in Masamba North Luwu. This is done as a UMI effort to disseminate religious proselytizing (Dakwah) and participated to succeed the government programs, i.e., character education, and mental revolution. It was also said character education training method is very varied, in addition to lectures, simulations, games, quiz, remembrance, prayer and muhasabah. Served with active learning, creative, innovative and fun.

“No wonder the students are very interested and enthusiastic followed this dissemination activity, he explained. At the end of the session also distributed numbers of brochures of faculties within the scope of UMI,” he explained.
