Re-registration of new students of the Universitas Muslim Indonesia for Academic Year 2019/2020 was extended, this information came from the Rector of UMI, Prof. Dr. H. Basri Modding, S.E., M.Si., when reporter met in his office, UMI Tower 9th Floor. Accompany him, the Head of New Students Committee, who is also the Vice Rector I for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ir. H. Hanafi Ashad, MT., Friday (9/9).
“Extension of re-registration, responding to public requests, bearing in mind several expenses including welcoming Eid al-Adha. Therefore, responding to the request, the results of the evaluation meeting of University level, it was decided to extend the re-registration of new students on 13 to 16 August 2019 from 08.00 AM to 04.00 PM at the Auditorium Al-Jibra, Campus II of UMI”, Rector explained.
“Alhamdulillah, we thank you for the trust of the community in choosing to entrust their children to attend their children to study at UMI, and God willing, this trust will certainly keep us well in line with the vision of UMI, to develop the human resources who have knowledgeable, professional and good character”, he added.
“We received a report, that the re-registration of new students was very significant. The number to date, August 9, 2019, at 11:00 AM, as many as 6.517 peoples, including new students for Postgraduate (Master and Doctoral)”, he explained, who is agreed by the Head of New Students Committee.
This number continues to increase every day, of course this is also the support and prayers from the community and trust from the public to UMI as the best private universities in eastern Indonesia, the only accredited A in Eastern Indonesia and the first outside of Java island.
