Soft Skill Training for UMI’s Students

UMI Makassar – Universitas Muslim Indonesia (UMI) provides skills to students through Soft Skill Development Training in the Auditorium of Al Jibra Campus 2 UMI, Saturday (3/12).

Soft Skill Development Training is followed by 400 representative students from each faculty at UMI, where each faculty has sent 25 students.

Rector of UMI, Prof Dr. Masrurah Mokhtar M.A said that every student must have a skill that can support in the future, especially when entering the working area.

Students with excellent skills will have more opportunities to compete in the world, especially in the business community.

“I hope all my children have the skills that not acquired in the classroom but outside by joining training,” said Prof Masrurah.

Prof Masrurah stresses that the ability is not gained in the classroom because what we achieved in the classroom is the development of science based on each department so that the difference is the skill later.

“Even if there is a soft skill training out there and must be paid, if you can why not to join, because of that, the university facilitates such activities,” she said.
