UMI Rector Attends Festival HAM 2016 in Bojonegoro

UMI Makassar – Rector of Universitas Muslim Indonesia (UMI) Prof. Hj. Masrurah Mokhtar MA attends the Festival of Human Rights (HAM) in 2016 which took place in Bojonegoro who opened by Watimpres in Hall Malowo Pati (30/11).

Rector of UMI said that every citizen of Indonesia has a commitment and a responsibility to respect continuously and protect human rights.

“In religion also explains it and therefore all elements of the nation is responsible for continuing to oversee and prioritize human rights in every aspect of life. HAM is not just the political sphere but all aspects of human life,” said Prof Masrurah.

President of Indonesia, Jokowi is represented by members of the Presidential Advisory Council, Sidarto Danusburoto said the government chose a strong commitment to the respect and protection of human rights to all citizens.

Former members of the MPR also explained that the local administration and all elements have a vital role to realize the safety and promotion of human rights.

Meanwhile, the Regent of Bojonegoro, Suyoto said efforts undertaken in the implementation of human rights in partnership with the principles of open government, transparency, accountability.

Partnership, innovative reached by way of direct dialogue with the government and every Friday I go to the dialog management review and also the role of IT,” he said.
